The Tradition Continues
Pinnell and Talifson A few words about the guides who were the previous holders of my Red Lake and Olga Lakes areas. I had the honor of working for Bill Pinnell and Morris Talifson ("Last of the Great Brown Bear Men") for 14 years.
I got my start with Pinnell and Talifson in 1977, and have always been thankful that I had the opportunity to learn from the best in the business. They taught me a lot about what true Fair Chase Hunting really is. Their tradition of hunting will continue through me.
Location
Kodiak Island - My guide areas on Kodiak Island are located approximately 90 air miles southwest of Kodiak. There are no roads or airstrips in my guide area. The only way to reach my hunting camps is by float plane via the city of Kodiak.

Alaska Range - My camps are located on the north slope of the Alaska Range, approximately 160 air miles north of Anchorage.
moose Camps
The semi-permanent camps will be warm, spacious wall tents and Arctic Oven tents, or log cabins where available. Mountain tents will be used for spiking out in remote areas, only if the size animal you desire can't be found within easy walking distance of the main camps.

Transportation
Kodiak Island - Transportation to my guide area is via float plane from the city of Kodiak. I will make all arrangements for this flight. The hunter will be responsible for paying for his own transportation round trip from Kodiak to camp.

Alaska Range - Transportation to my camps are via a Cessna 206 Wheel Plane from Anchorage. I will make all arrangements for this flight. The hunter will be responsible for paying for his own transportation round trip from Anchorage to camp.
