Camps
All camping will be done in 3-man, mountain tents with no more than 2 people per tent. One larger mountain tent will be used as a cook tent.

Food
There will be plenty of food available, however, because of space and no way to
freeze meat, some of our food will be freeze dried. With today's technology the
freeze dried food is actually very good. Special dietary needs will be met with
prior notification. Basically, our meals will be as stated
below:
Breakfast - Eggs, bacon, ham, jam, honey, bread, coffee, tea, cocoa and Tang.
Lunch - Sausage, ham, cheese, bread, candy bars, cookies, chips, fruit and Tang or lemonade.
Dinner - Hot and hearty, delicious meals such as steak, potatoes, salad and desserts.

What To Bring
I will furnish all camps, food, rafts, fishing poles, life jackets and transportation while floating on the river. I will not provide food in restaurants as we travel by vehicle to our put-in points. Some snack foods will be available in the van (chips, soda, cookies, etc.).
Each client will provide their own sleeping bag and all items of personal nature. The following list will prove helpful as a guide in selecting your outfit:

Please, you must keep your
gear to only the necessities. |

Transportation
Trips will originate in Anchorage or Fairbanks. From this point you will be
picked up by van and taken to a motel, or we may head off to our departure point
to reach the river we have chosen to float.
Each float trip is different, so distance traveled by vehicle and by small charter plane will vary. All trips require the use of a vehicle and a small air charter. All transportation is included in the price of the trip. Most trips will include some sightseeing by vehicle before we reach our departure point to float our river.
Float trips in the Brooks Range can either originate in Anchorage or Fairbanks. You may wish to skip the 350 mile sight-seeing trip by van from Anchorage to Fairbanks and just fly direct to Fairbanks by commercial jet.
All
transportation on our float trips are conducted in large, 16' whitewater rafts.
(NOTE: Three clients and a guide are maximum in one raft at any one time.)
The main base price for one person includes all transportation. A second person can utilize all transportation provided in the main base price, however, in most cases if a third person is added, the main base price will have to be increased to cover additional transportation costs (specifically air charters).
Deposits
A deposit of 50% is due at the time of booking your rafting trip. The remaining balance is due at least 30 days before the trip begins. The deposit is non-refundable, unless a replacement can be found to take your place. For pricing, please review the Rafting Cost Schedule.
Guarantee
My guarantee to each individual client is to do everything possible to make your trip comfortable and enjoyable. All trips are conducted under personal contract between guide and client.
