We offer overnight, and custom trips where your needs are met with warmth and variety in mind. All of our trips include transportation from the Anchorage area, food, lodging and necessary gear. However, you will need to provide your own warm clothing.
Sorry, no large groups with us. We offer only personalized small group trips. Four people at any one time will be the maximum allowed. We will do everything possible to see that your trip is safe and enjoyable.
Your Guide Scott Mileur - Scott owns and operates the business and is a 35 year Alaskan who has extensive skills in the outdoors acquired from guiding, commercial fishing, trapping, river rafting and dog mushing. He also holds a registered guide license, CPR and First Aid certificates, and a Coast Guard license for all waters of Alaska.
Our main goal is to provide you and your friends with a very memorable and enjoyable experience of Alaska's winter wonderland. And our hope is if we do our job you will return again with us next winter when the snow fills Alaska's valleys and mountains, and once again Alaska is a winter wonderland.
Get acquainted with the Mileur's, and have supper in their beautiful log home. All day trips include hot drinks and lunch. After a full day of snowmobiling, return back to the warmth of the Mileur's household for a hearty Alaskan supper including wholesome foods like wild game, salmon and more.
The trips offered are only a few of the places to go on a snowmobile in Alaska. Alaska is a vast land with a large variety of topography to be seen, from mountains, forested rolling hills, lakes, and glaciers with many differing species of wildlife to be seen. Alaska Snow Machine Tour Options
This adventure is a two day trail ride on the famous Iditarod Trail. You will have an opportunity to see and meet the dog mushers during the race. This trail consists of rolling hills of spruce and birch forests, lakes, rivers and great vistas of Mt. McKinley, the tallest mountain in North America.
Iditarod Trail / Trap line Trail
This is an extensive custom trip for the more adventurous. This trip follows the famous Iditarod Trail and then connects with my trap line trail. An approximate distance of 400 miles round trip, and takes approximately 6 days.
At the end of the trail is my very comfortable log cabin. Once at my cabin, trapping and just enjoying the outdoors will be on our agenda. My cabin is surrounded by 5000-6000 foot mountains, a very beautiful place. This is a very special trip. Many varying kinds of topography will be passed through and many varieties of wildlife can be viewed, a great opportunity to see wolves.
