The Kodiak Island Legends - When Pinnell and Talifson retired after 47 years of guiding on Kodiak,  Scott took over their legendary guide area located on the South end of Kodiak Island near Olga Bay in the Red Lake and Karluk Lake areas.

Scott worked for Pinnell and Talifson as an Assistant Guide. Through their tutelage, Scott was able to learn how to successfully hunt these bears and how to navigate through the rugged landscape that they call home. 

 

Scott's camps continue to hunt the same generations of B&C bears that Pinnell and Talifson did when they first came to Kodiak.
